We've all been waiting a while for a new Emerica video to come out, and tomorrow the wait is over. I'm expecting big things, especially from Andrew Reynolds who's and Jerry Hsu who's part in Enjoi's Bag of Suck is still one of my favorites. Stay Gold is one of the most anticipated videos of the year so head down to your local shop and pick one up while they last.

Skate and Create
Maybe you have seen these, maybe you haven't. Transworld released this years Skate and Create videos, and this is their best year yet. I have to side with the majority and say my favorite is Etnies (pictured below) for doing something different, even though it's a copy of the old World Industries videos. It just looks like all around fun.

Street League Skateboarding
In case you haven't heard, Rob Dyrdek had the crazy idea to start a professional skateboarding league called Street League Skateboarding. It is a great concept to try to gather the best skateboarders in the world, and with guys like Koston, Marc Johnson, Chris Cole and PJ Ladd, he did a great job. The only question I have is will it catch on? I know it's about creating an official establishment for skateboarding and not about money, but with corporate sponsors it has to be profitable to exist. Will enough people care about this for it to actually make money?
Also, the most frustrating thing about broadcasting skate contests is that they are rarely broadcast live. That means that anyone that cares at all will look it up online and already know what happens by the time it airs. How are they going to keep viewership up with that setup? Anyway, it wil be interesting to see what happens. I know I will be watching.

More About Nothing
Everyone's favorite DC rapper is back today with a follow up to his 2008 release Mixtape About Nothing. In case you were wondering how to prevent your album from leaking before it's release date, just finish it 2 days before it comes out like Wale did. I'm a big fan of the creativity on this new mixtape. Keep pushing the envelope Wale.
Free download is here. I recommend a good listen.

One of my favorite music acts right now, The Knux are what hip hop is all about; having fun, making music, and being honest. Krispy says it all in this interview. According to him, their album Pop Killer should have been out already. Just a matter of time. For now, enjoy what they have.

Guru Rest in Peace
In case you haven't heard, The King of Monotone, Guru of Gang Starr lost his battle with cancer last week after being in a coma for almost 2 months. He will be missed greatly by the hip hop community and people all over the world. Here are two Gang Starr songs that should be remembered and played for generations to come: Moment of Truth and Mass Appeal. You really can't beat his smooth calm delivery style.

Make Friends With the Colo(u)r Blue
One of my favorite skate videos of all time is Blueprint's Lost and Found. Sometime this month the UK company will release their newest video, Make Friends With the Colour Blue. This time, Kevin Coakley and Marty Murawski will be representing the USA. Here is the trailer. Can't wait!

Tilles Singer has a sweet little video that has been getting some hype on the internet. It's created with sequences from skateboard magazines. You know something is a great idea when it makes you say "Why didn't I think of that?" I also want to wish a happy belated birthday to co-owner Geoff Gelderman.
